Petroleum Storage and Handling Facilities
Minimizing Hazards, Maximizing Safety
Working in an environment fraught with hazardous risks, Golbe Gas has identified key factors and addressed them while designing Bulk Petroleum Facility. We have developed strict health and safety norms, engineered an incisive plan in technical and operational convenience, made assessments of risk and loss awareness and given priority to preserving the environment.
Petroleum can be stored in bulk in a tank constructed of iron, steel or any other material. The tanks are properly designed, erected and all its fittings are secured. They so constructed and maintained that it prevents any leakage of petroleum.
Generally all tanks of capacity exceeding 5,000 liters for the storage of petroleum Class C are surrounded by an enclosure wall or placed inside a pit. Such tanks are constructed and maintained to contain the maximum quantity of petroleum capable of being contained in largest tank within such enclosure or pit, without leakage.
Globe Gas specializes in Design, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Petroleum Storage Tanks with Floating Roof Storage Tanks (API 650) and Fixed Roof Storage Tanks - Vertical under IS 803 and Horizontal under IS 10987 (Indian Standards).
